| Drug
use has, sadly, become more creative over the years. In the world
of young adults as well as the general population there is a new challenge
– predatory club drugs.
Unfortunately, this means that in clubs, at parties, at almost any gathering where you could be having a beverage of any kind, without your knowledge or permission, your drink could be adulterated with a drug known as a predatory club drug or date rape drug. Someone could add something to your drink. Because many of these drugs are amnesiacs a victim may not know they have had something put in their drink. The perpetrator counts on the victim not remembering what happened. Twenty minutes after ingesting the drug the following symptoms may be present: |
